Exhaust packing

I need some Akrapovic Exhaust packing for my Ti Can. Anyone know of a dealer on the east coast that may have some in stock and can get it to me in 2 days? I've compared the other packing to the Akr stuff and they all look generic. I just had my end can Anodized and I want good packing/insulation back in there.

Spencer Cycle handles Akra. I don't know what they keep in stock...It's worth a try.

I got my packing from Motorcycle USA. It is the same material as from the factory. Easy to replace. I used 2 packs for my Akra silencer.

Did you use the 250 or 450 gram packing? Did the pipe sound the same or was it louder? I don't want it to be louder.

I used 2 of the 250 Gram packs. After repacking, it wasn't louder than it was when I bought the pipe.

Thanks Pride, I'm ordering two packs today. Curious on why two packs. Did you wrap one on top of the other or did you need two packs to complete the length of the pipe...one adjacent to the other?

HMF sells some nice exhaust packing material. Last time I priced it, cost was about $20 plus shipping.

I used two packs because it took two packs to fill the silencer. Hope it works out for you.
