Thanks for the compliment... It is a sweet car... I will probably stay BMW for the rest of my life.
Yah... the new 7 is butt-ugly, like you said. They will probably have no problems selling them. There are folks out there that just have to keep up with the Joneses... without regard to taste. I guess the new 7 has more bells and whistles than the space shuttle... that kinda crap sells a lot of folks too.... I actually think my 330 has a few things on it I could do WITHOUT.

...cool...if you read 'BIMMER' magazine, on of the writers is a long time friend of mine...we're like twin motorhead sons of different mothers...often times he has a lot of 'inside info' about BMWs that he'll hint or actually tell me about...of course I'm sworn to super duper secret squirrel secrecy...I even got to meet some of the 'new' M3 developmental team a couple of years ago...talk about secret squirrel stuff!...he and I might be trekking on our bikes out to the desert sometime before summer to scout for some 'hot desert testing' areas...would be cool if BMW loans us a couple of their press fleet K1200-RS(?) for this recon mission...woohoo!

Yup... I have a subscription... which editor is he? Does he own a bike? I like the build quality and looks of the BMW bike... it's just one youve had a 170 HP bike.... there is no going back.
