underseat exhaust

Does anyone know where I can find an underseat exhaust for an 04 zx12r? I've been all over the net, looked at just about every exhaust manufacturer there is and found nothing..... If you don't, do you know of anyone that can fabricate one??.

I have (in pictures).

I believe the bike was in France - I don't remember the gory details, but I'll see what I can dig up.

I do remember it was extremely expensive (don't quote me, but I remember upwards of $1800 U.S. and that was maybe 2 years ago).

If I remember correctly, it had four pencil tips coming out in a V shape under the tail light.

If I remember right the bike was actually in Germany and like motorcycleboy said, it was something like 1800.

interesting observation from kbryant on underseat exhausts, BTW.. they may look cool, but they weigh more and infact produce less HP...

Is that because they appear to be stainless steel? I would assume that a titanium one would weigh less, especially without a can, but I dunno...

no.....they weigh more cause it takes more piping to get it under the tail...less hp cause more pipe the exhaust has to go thru !!

kbryant would know... for the specifics you'd have to ask him.... he has more than enough experience making underseat exhausts.

The pipe does look like it flows quite well. I believe KB replied once to a picture of an Ixil Exhaust on a Z1000 that I posted. He attributed, like fish states, they produce less HP because of the bends in the pipe. Any high mount pipe will suffer from the same from the sharp S bends.

What do you think would create more hp, the undertail or the stock exhaust??

I have a hard time with this pic, 12s exhaust runs hot really hot. On a stock system its about 1200deg but thats because of the cat so who knows.
