OT--Latest project done...
This is a hall table I built for my neighbors as a "present" for the new addition on their house. I took these pictures last weekend at their house. It's a simple design of my own, Curly Maple top with Black Walnut aprons and tapered legs. Turned out pretty nice and they love it.

She wasts a deck like your neighbors first (the circle one) to go around the back of the house.. I told her the fence and swing would be easier but she's checking on that shit now... It's just loading up.... I need a drink!!!!!!!!!!

Decks are easy enough. You need to have good plans with solid measurements first. Get a good estimate of the amount of wood and what sizes you need (ei: the ledger board, joists, posts, rails, ballasters, floor boards and any skirting you may want, then you need and put the order in at a lumber store and have them deliver it to your house. And to be honest digging post holes SUCK so make sure you rent a post hole digger, make sure your at a depth of 44" which is code, you need to be under the frost line here in Michigan. Then sink the posts, cement them in a day before you start building. There are a lot of things to do and supplies and tools you need, but it's not hard.
