Shipping Costs on a ZX-12R

I think it was on this board I heard of dealers shipping ZX-12R's for $200. Does this sound right? Some freight companies and ideas on shipping are appreciated. I'm thinking Seattle to Cocoa, Florida.

I posted a while back that I had shipped a bike from san diego to Hartford Ct. for $260.

The company I used was Air forward. They are a typical air freight forwarding company.
You must crate the bike and deliver it to the nearest airforward branch.
I used a wooden crate but the steel ones are lighter and they charge by the pound.

Bike dealers throw away the crates and usually have lots of them.

Did Air Forward require you to drain "all fluids" prior to shipment?

No, they only ask whats in the crate. I did ship it with out any fuel in it thou.
There was extra room so I put some palm trees and other stuff in there as well.

I'll be shipping a Busa from SanDiego to here in may.
So I'll see what the costs are now.
