? about turbo's
Some one told me that if i put a street turbo say 8 to 10# of boost that it will wear the engine out premature, is this true because i thought at that low of boost that it would be okay on a stock bike someone help me that knows about turbos

I've probably got about 2500 miles on mine. 1st 1500 miles at 8 lbs now running 14 lbs with no motor problems. I do have JE Turbo pistons, APE Cam Chain Tensioner,clutch basket, HD clutch springs and HD valve springs though. Bike is very smooth, almost stock - like smooth till about 6 lbs of boost and thats where the "party" starts. Bike was tuned by Motorhead ( he said anly 8 lbs on pump gas) and made about 220 HP at 8 lbs of boost, each lb should be about 10 HP so I should be about 280 HP at 14 lbs of boost. So far I've had no problem with the higher boost on pump gas, but I'm pulling timing out at higher RPMs. I plan to add a water injection kit too.

How do you use all that power? I've got a 212 rwhp 1361, and I've got more power then I know what to do with

Way I see it is that engines can blow up at any time - its a question of the odds. With every mile, the odds of a blowup increase. Adding stuff like a turbo etc also increases the odds of a blowup. Here is the thing tho, you can ALSO do things to REDUCE the odds of a blowup like:
1. Be "sane" about boost pressure
2. Build up the engine (pistons, crank etc)
3. Build up the clutch (a strong clutch allows less stuff to get into the engine)
3. Don't let me drive it (cause lord knows if I get my hands on one of the turbo '12's - I'm readlining the sucker till it blows!!!! WOOHOOO!!!)

DP is right, an engine can blow at any time.
*Run good oil - I run Mobile 1 synthetic
*Build the engine up, specially turbo pistons & clutch
*Be sane about the boost & how long your in the boost
* Good gas
*Don't let anybody you don't know very good ride it
*Have it mapped professionally, Motorhead did mine & the ridability is outstanding!

capt10ed; Bob Behn at RB Racing has been ripping people off for over 20 years. It is normal for him to take your money, and you never get your stuff. He is especially bad with his overseas customers. they will never get anything. I do not know how he stays in buisiness. He has a bunch of complaints against him with the better buisiness burea, and the california department that handles that, but they will not close him down. He has been sued by countless people, and a few have actually gotten some money back through the courts. Sport rider magazine will no longer accept adds for his company because of all the complaints that they got, and threats of being pulled in to some of the lawsuits. You should talk to an attorney, and try to get your money back.
