New Undertail Pic

I appologize for the shitty pics, soon as we get a sunny day I'll roll the bike outside and get some good shots of it. It fits great, looks awesome, and I couldn't be happier with it. Well if is was $100 or so cheaper it wouldn't have hurt.

I've got to give Robert at Graphic Art Moto Design props for a nice product, it fit like a glove, no tweaking needed anywhere.

That Does Look Good...

Did you lose or gain any trunk (storage under the passenger seat) space for this installation?? What's your opinion on the license plate illumination and turn signal brightness??

Undertail

I will lose some underseat storage space, especially if I install the computer like per the insructions. But I'm gonna custom build some type of mount for it, and the PC3r when it gets here, to try and save as much space as possible. I don't think i'll end up losing much space. There is a small light to illuminate the plate and I haven't wired the turn signals yet. Gonna do that tonight, may or may not wire up the light for the plate. Stealth mode baby. Seriously I may not wire it up.

Wasn't Cheap..........But ......

It took me 3 or 4 hours to do, but that was really taking time to try and do it right. I've still got to wire in the turn signals and license plate light tonight.

The cost was $337 total. I know that's kinda steep but this thing fit like a glove, and looks awesome. I WILL get better pics because Robert wants some to put on his website. My 12 is the first red one to have this undertail put on it and he wants pics to post.

To give you an idea of what a mess you'll make putting this thing on look at these pics.

But it all pays off, and again, these pics suck, but you get the idea.

TB,
Thanks I may end up having to do that. That is if we don't get any sunny weather that will allow me to roll her outside and get some good pics.

I ordered one of these last week and it showed up at the door yesterday. According to Robert he is coming out with an upgrade to make the turn signals brighter. He said these will be available soon.
Hopefully I can install mine this weekend..

I finally got to meet Robert in person at the N.Y.C. bike show last month after two years of of instant messaging and phone conversations. He is one of the nicest guys in the industry you could hope to meet.

I also got to compare his undertail to the Eurobikes. Roberts product is 1000 times the quality of Eurobikes(no that's a typo I ment one thousand times). The Eurobikes stuff was very cheap and flimsy. Roberts is a lot more study well made.

You know better than that Rick!!!!!!!!

Actually I've got a full system sitting in the box just waiting to be put on. It's a Yoshimura stainless/Ti can RS-3 Duplex Race system. I'm waiting on my fan from Muzzy's and my PC3r to get here. I'm ready to get it all back together so I can clean it up, take some GOOD pics, and go see how good it wheelies. I just put the hans hugger and the undertail on this week. Next week I'm gonna do the oil pressure mod, put the yosh on, put the aluminum fan on, and install my PC3r.

Then I gotta order a rear tire.

Wiring.....

Did the wiring last night, didn't use the crimp on connectors. I soldered everything and used shrink tube over my solder joints, then taped over it. Should be good to go now. I went ahead and wired up the license plate light, it looks pretty cool actually. Everything worked fine.

I'm tired of seeing my bike in pieces, I'm ready to get it back together FO SHO. Probably be next weekend before I get everything done though.
