Chris i was thinking of staying at alcoa holiday inn but if there are cabins avalable let me know provide me with the phone # so i can make reservations thanx at this time i dont think i will be bringing the 12 as i havent got to ride it yet except in the parking lot i will have to ride my trike

i have just 8 days to be able to ride my ZX12R and i dont feel like i can get this accomplished so i will not be attending the gap :>( i was hoping to be ready but it juist didnt work out for me a big dissapoitment but i will just have to accept the facts iam not ready to ride the 12 i want everyone th have a gr8 time and see yas next time

The DG events are part of us and always will be, it's just being family men, business owners and fellas with a lot of pots in the fire, occasionally you have to take care of other shit. If, for me, it's only 1 time in 8 that I can't make it? That's a pretty good record.

I hear ya loud and clear bro. We have made a good run without missing an event until now. I am bummed for sure, but have accepted things the way that they have fell. I could dwell on it and be a bitter bastard for the next 8 months  but I won't. I plan on starting my bike projects WAY earlier in preparation for next May. I don't want anything standing in my way of attending DG9. I'm already thinking far in advance and WILL be ready to fuckin' raise hell with my brothers. Can I get a witness?????

This will be the third one I've missed and the second in a row. I even got extra vacation time fom work so I could fit in both racing and at least one DG event. I ain't plannin' on making it three in a row.

Looks like the trip may be out for me too.
Seems they're looking for volunteers to go help with disaster relief down south. If not enough volunteers from my office (they need 4). If not enouhg volunteers, I may get IN-volunteered. 7-14 days, going with 24-48hours notice. If not for the DG trip, I'd be all over this in a heartbeat, and I'm not sure I should let DG stop me from doing what's right, or if I could even really enjoy it knowing I pussed out.
So... Guess I'll see you guys in May.

This is not the end for me, next May is a lock... I will be there without question. As for my record I didn't know about DG1, and have been at everyone every since. I look forward to next May. It could be the best trip ever.
