...so jere, right up front I can tell you (in case you weren't aware) that when you run from the cops, and depending on the circumstances and how the pursuit unfolds ie. running stop signs, red lights, endangering the general public all in the name of evading capture, in most states its a FELONY (called felony evading)...
...so...you've participating in feloneous acts of speed and evading and you haven't been caught (yet)...bear in mind, however, that even though you haven't been caught, if and when the cops have sufficient evidence against you, there is a thing we call a 'notify warrant', that is, a judge approves and issues a warrant out for your arrest...days or even months later...its called building a case against you...hell, the cops may even seize and impound your very expensive speed machines as evidence...
...so don't think that this cop is flaming you...just trying to educate and hopefully save some heart-ache for you or those that may be seriously injured or killed somewhere down the road because someone was doing something feloneous and was trying their damnedest to evade lawful apprehension...

Jere these guys I rode with at the gap from this forum are about as hard core as riders as one can get without being snuffed out by a greasy spot on a 120 mph sweeper, You wont find anybody that rides as hard, I don't care for some of the trash talk, but thats my preference, I would put about 5-6 of these riders up against anybody from anywhere.
And some of em ride like the guys you mentioned above,
Jere when I head out in full leathers and with race tires on I play nice in crowded areas, But out on the open road its WFO,
Jere there was one member from .org that was as serious about ZX12Rs as these guys and its GreenMamba, He has skills and knowledge as well about setup and to get the most outta the 12.
This is the forum for the most serious 12R riders,

um, no serious riders here, just a bunch of fat old men that like to think that they are fast and can actually ride......maybe one day I will get the training wheels off my ZX10.......next year that is my goal.......

I think I will only say this, and stay out of it...........
As far as some of us go, MM, me , and some others, Bergie, Karl, etc..., I do not think anyone is on a dragstrip as much....
Some guys ride very hard in the twisties, and god knows VH spends enough time trying to get an 1/8 of a hp.........
I have not been here a long long time, as I had a 600 when the 12 came out........, but, I have raced for quite some time, rode longer,
Serious is a relative term, but when any of the folks I mentioned above speak(type), we all have a lot of knowledge.......,
Hell, Rob Muzzy comes here, Doug Meyer is on here all the time.
But hey, we are not serious...........
Mike was just playin when he asked you to race...........
We dont do that stuff....., high 8s in the 1/4 and 5.70s in the 1/8 is way too serous for us losers........

I believe that you ride how ever you want to ride, if you want to run, run. But one day runnning isnt going to be worth it when you kill someone and if you have a family maybe even leave them widowed. its cool and all. some people have something to run from and something to hide, but that also hurts the other riders that choose not run, so what happens when you run, it can hurt and kill others and maybe even yourself, but at the same time it causes law enforcement officers to look at all bikers differently. Not all but alot of officers do stereo type. So i guess in a sense we are all fucked. Thier is a time and place for ever thing, good luck.

Jere, What's up with this thread ?? I met you a few years back down here in Boynton Beach at a cruise night, you had that sick big block "go cart" and I was in my "sleeper" big block vega wagon. So I know your not full of sh!t about the stuff you build. We talked for a while and I think we had both just got our ZX9R's.....You seemed cool enough at the time, but dude you need to back off some. There are a lot of smart people on this site that will help you anyway they can. You may not agree with their advice but they usually tell you like it is.....Why don't you share some of your info. For example: post some pics of that trick looking stubby exhaust on your 12 .......
It looks like you found someone to ride with....psycho invited you on a Payson run !!
One thing kinda bothers me .... You said you use to race Moroso ?? How can you think road racing is boring ?????? What were your lap times ??? I'll run out there at Sportbike tracktime events on my 636 whenever I can and I'm wrung out after six 20 minute sessions. I'm not fast but I'm not that slow either. I try and go to a road racing school once a year to pick up some pointers and some more speed. I don't get how you think it's boring. You need to find yourself some local track days......you may find your not all that fast............

ride your ride, anyone that gets goated into riding anything but what they are comfortab le with is an idiot.....plain and simple....if you let ego get the best of you on a bike like the ZX12 because you are listening to some dipshit talk trash, then you get what you deserved....anyone that doesnt show these bikes respect is STOOOPID ! ! !!
