Where is the best place on the bike to find power for a radar detector?

Damn harpoon, you know how to pick the right topic if anyone has the energy to go thru this again.

There are easy places, and then there is directly to the battery.

Some say that going directly to the battery prevents false bogeys on a Valentine, others say "oh pashaw that's nonsense".

I went to the battery and don't get false bogeys, but who knows.

Well, I'm lazy and since most of the electronics for my valentine and screamer wound up behind the dash, I just used the parking light power lines.
