OMG! Jardine Dyno Shoot-out 545.1 HP!!!

Had to post a new thread. John Noonan from JE Pistons layed the smack down on everybody with a 545.1 horsepower run at the Jardine Powerjam, West Coast Dyno Shootout. I could be wrong, but I believe that is a North American record. The old one being like 511 hp at the AMI Daytona Shootout (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
John hurried back today to get another run in after turning a measly 328 hp pass yesterday. He drove in from Lake Mirage after setting an unfairinged record of I believe 211 on this particular Busa. He showed up straight from the run, with bike covered in Mirage dirt.
I really don't know how to convey to you the pass sequences. He warmed up with 416, 434, let the bike cool, did some tuning, then layed down the 545.1 pass. He backed it up a few minutes later with a measly 534 pass.
It was standing room only at the event, last run of the day, and was simply awesome to witness. John must have balls the size of grapefruits. He not only twists the thing on the dyno and builds the motors, but he rides this horse as well. Unbelieveable.....

WOW!!! that is crazy awsome... what was he using, turbo, nitrous? supercharger?

JEEZUS. Here is my quesiton, it is cool and all to have 545.1 HP for your bike.. but with that much power, is the bike really ridable? No flaming here, just seriously curious. How the heck do you control it?

Pure Turbo Power only. Runs a large Turbo and I believe had it at 30+ pounds of boost. You had to see it to believe it.
deathpulse - it is completely rideable. John proves it all the time at El Mirage & Bonneville. As indicated, he went like 211 mph without a fairing to establish a new record today at El Mirage. Last year, I believe he went like 246 mph at Bonneville, and almost 250 on one pass! He is the man!

545 is a bunch.
The 2004 record @ AMI is 514.7 on their Superflow CycleDyn. That bike had a turbo and nitrous oxide.
It's fun to hear them on a dyno. Zzzzip ! and they're done.

Dave - you are so right! Your brain does not really realize what just took place, because it's over so quickly. Well, at least standing there it seems like that. Maybe if you were riding that horse, it would seem like an eternity..
And wow! The old record was with Nitrous & Turbo! I think that makes John (and ours) new record of 545.1 even more impressive.

One thing is the Naked Bike because of the trouble at Maxton with a Turbo Busa that has 2 steering dampeners and lost it in the lights from a speed wobble
