Byron dragstrip Mike??
Me and about 20+ buddies are all riding to shawnberg to woodfield mall tomarrow,(satruday) we are going to get there aroun 7pm.From what I here there more than 200 bikes all road race bikes no harleys. I guess alot of street racing will be going on not at the mall but close by.

Really, that sounds like fun are you going to be running your bike?
I never have tried it I want to.

Byron Il, is right outside of Rockford IL. the race is a two day race being both indivual races 1000 bucks a day to win! 55 to enter and 25 to test and tune all day long.

that should get you close.
it is about 2 hours from Davenport Ia, and about 1 from Chicago.
From the city take 88 west to rockford.
and there is a FREE Hog roast on Saturday night!! if you camp out there is free camping and they have showers at the track! there is a group of us that will be camping out!! should be a great time!
if anyone wants I will shoot you my cell # that way we can get intouch at the track.

Not really a damn thing, they just want you to be safe and simple stuff like a chain guard, etc... if your bike is sound and you have gloves, a good jacket and boots you are in! they prefer leather pants if you go quicker then 120, but I have never seen them stop anyone either. We can have a Bikeland Bash! sounds great!

I,m half temped to run mine I got 1000 miles on it whats it cost and ((what time do you have to be there to race))??

10am to race, it is 55 to enter the actual race or it is 25 to test and tune all day long!!
HDL.. if you guys come up I am buying the beer!!! there is going to be a whole bunch of us camping out... it will be a blast!!
