Rubber, threaded grommet thing - fuel tank cover
I'm having a hard time finding the part number for those larger threaded grommet things for the front part of the tank cover.
Anyone know the number? My local shop can't find them on the fiche either....

the wellnuts?
In a pinch..there are two on the ram air "baffle" doohickey on either side of the bike you could borrow to keep the tank on.
I removed those baffles anyway.

Get a windshield mounting kit (Zero Gravity) or something like that. Same thing and much less $$$ per piece. I went through a lot of 'em.
But keep the OEM screws.

They aren't on the slide with the cover. Look here:

That's the cowling slide.

the 92015A in that pic. is a different size than the 2 at the front of the tank cover. (at least on my 2000)
That 92015A one is used every-freakin-where on the bike!
The front tank cover ones are also larger than the ones used for the windscreen mounts.
Is this something peculiar to the 00 model?

The right partnumber is 92015-1757 and it is listed under cowling
