zx12 shift fork removal
Any help to remove/replace shift forks would be appreciated.

Do a search about it. I and others have posted a good bit about this fix. You can do it by removing the oil pan and clutch basket. If you had a manual it would help a bunch. Try a thread on Labusas for the manual.

Really not that bad. Just did mine this winter and now the transmission is better than new. Couple of hours of job. Just remove exhaust, oil pan and clutch and Your ready to go. At the same time You get the chance to get the debris out of oil pan and oil pick up screen - boy they get dirty!!! And one note - change all the gaskets. That may just save bunch of troubles in the future... Get the service manual. I think that there is a link to .pdf manual on this site couple of days ago...
