Muzzy and the 2004 sub throttle bodies
Well I took the stock pipe off the bike today and put the muzzy on, well guess what (NO HESITATION) and no powercommander about time looks like Kawasaki fixed it.

 - thats good news widow! I've got teh 2000 model and I love it with the Muzzy BAD ASS sounding and cool!

Thats good news about the low throttle bog being fixed .
I'm curious as to what other 2004 changes were made to the bike .

For 2004, the ZX-12R's power delivery is further improved with the addition of sub throttles to the fuel injection system.
New radial-mounted front disc brakes enhance braking feel.
The new sub throttles are placed further up the intake tract and are controlled by the electronic Engine Control Unit (ECU), which automatically adjusts air intake to more precisely match engine demand. The result is a smooth flow of power at all throttle positions, similar to that of constant velocity carburetor designs, with the efficiency of modern fuel injection.

Does the throttle body allow any additional benefits when DYNOED with a powercommander?

Don't know yet, you think it would.
The new powercommander for the 04 is to be out anytime.

Please tell me that "ALL" of the ranting and raving was not about "This" bike? Please do not tell me that you had not installed the pipe before all of this posting?

I bought the muzzy for my 03 zx12r last year and could never get the stumble all the way out until I put the Akrapovic on it.
But on my 2004 zx12r that I just got last week it's wonderful no stumble
no $400 powercommander either .
Rob muzzy just told a couple days ago on the zx10r fourm that it was my cam's timing on the 03,and is why I couldn't get the stumble out.
I wish they would of told me that last year before I bought the extra baffleing from muzzy for $65 and then I bought the Akrapovic that finally fixed the stumble. the way I look at it muzzy can or should take the baffling out for free since there the ones that told me I needed it for $65 more dollars.
I talked to muzzy a few times last year they told me a few differn't ways to get the stumble out but never told me that it was my cam's timing.

It doesn't matter either way it's like buying a race chip for your corvette
and telling you that you get more horse power and not telling you that when you take off the car will hesitate.
wouldn't you be pissed.then tell you that you need more parts to fix the hesitation and when you do it's still there.
When you could of bought a chip from someone else that allready had the issue worked out.
Well all of you that paid for a custom map for your muzzy that still stumbles
a little, I guess you got to live it and be happy because the benifits out weigh the stumble.

OK! I can understand that! Let me also say that on the ZX12R.org board, there are many threads about all of the pipes and the Muzzy in detail (Even more than here because he does not post there or have anything to do with anything there. Always look around before you invest! When I bought my Akra, it was the best pipe out there for what I wanted. Now there are about 5 pipes I would really consider!

yes it is...and I was looking at the new GTO for the wife.......that is a sweet little ride too.....I cant do the Vette yet....I want my Dually first....heheheh

it has much more character than the viper....I have been a Vette fan for many many years...I like the late 60's models though the best.....

Not saying which is betta... just making an observation about the front clip and wheel style.
Besides..... why would I pay $50k to go slower than what I ride now with the same passenger and luggage room.....hehe

I haven't seen the new GTO I will have to take a look at their website.
yes the vette does look a little like a viper. I like that look though, I wish I could talk my wife in to it. I tried last year but she won't go for it. I do have 3 kids and 2 seats don't work, I guess a bike is enough for now.

<---no kids, but momma still isnt biting on the Vette .....I got time to talk her into it...but if it comes down to my Dually or the Vette, I will stick to the Dually....and Bully Dog makes some serious shit for diesels now....its easy to get 450 hp and 700 ft lbs of torque out of these new motors.....
