strange clanging
I have a clanging noise coming from front brake caliper,when i hit my brakes very easy like if i tap it multiple times just enough to here the brake handle make the clicking sound and the bike has to be moving forward it makes the clanging sound it doesnt do it if the bike is moving backwards or standing still anybody have any ideas?

Check your steering stem bearings. Do you do wheelies?

yes i do whellies uh oh were are steering stem bearings sounds exspensive

Hummm...I would think the steering stem bearings would surround the ... ... ... steering stem!

You need to check to see if they are tight. There is a spanner nut below the top triple clamp. This will work loose sometimes if you do a lot of wheelies. The steering stem is where the pivot point for the handle bars is.

I was getting a clunk out of my 12, it felt like the forks were doing something really bad....turned out to be the steering stem bearings came loose......

yeah it was only the brake pads clanging around a bit i put a piece of rubber behind the plate on back of the caliper noise gone.
