Plasticoat works great. Easy to touch up scratches and fairly tough paint. I had my swingarm, footpegs, brackets and linkages painted for the last 2 years with Plasticoat engine paint and it looked alot like the parts had been powder coated. I even painted the lower fork tubes and had to touch them up this winter after two years. You can buy it at Advanced Auto Parts stores in Tennessee.

Im in Puerto Rico and the bike in RD, I talked to the airport and they do not let me carry paints.
I will have to look for paint in DR and look for pat black and aply several (3) layers of automotive paint then clear.

Here there is engine paint. And in D.R. (where the bike is) 2. but there is no plasticote, the problem is that if I buy it here I can not travel by air with it.
In DR there are several brads that I dont remember of engine paint. I thougth of painting the swing arm with automotive paint but maybe is a good idea to paint the swing arm with angine paint fat balck (to match the chasis) and then clear it.
What do you think?
