Rim coloR
I have a 2000 red model A, the rims are a disaster on the paint part especialy the front one.
I whant to see if a diferent color will make the bike look better.
PS. I dont have the original color, neither can order it, Im ooutside USA.

Gold would be nice....but if you are going to have them repainted, then you can make them any color you want....the Gold wheels that came on my 02 are now going to be silver, with polished outer edges....

Marcos those colors sound good.......REDX, I can tell you one reason for not doing them like Daves.....he has already done it.....I want my 12 to be one of a kind, something different than every other one I have seen...adn I think Brett has accomplished just exactally that....I will get somepics up here in the next few weeks when he and Roger get it done....

HDL gold wheels have already been done on a red bike. dave's bike is BLUE. And we don't need to talk about custom or different looking bike here because I can take you to school. I was just trying to give him some ideas of what looks good. I have't seen black rims on a red 12 yet.

Beans.... its called Plasticote flat engine paint. Matches the frame color perfect!
No primer needed! Clean your swingarm and spray!

Im thinking that black swing arm and gold like marvin will look great.
A friend told me that you just have to sand the rims and buy a can (here they sell you profesional paint with clear in it) an paint it.
The problem is the swing arm that the paint has to mach the frame and foot gards 2 will be black.

Cause you can spray it without priming and it resists oils and dirt pretty good.
I wouldnt trust paint with clear in it. (isnt that enamel anyway?) Paint first then clear!
