I am wonderering if the starting problem on my 2000 12R could be caused by the PC3R. Sometimes but not always when going to start the bike the starter motor will start to spin the engine over then the engine just "stops" turning over, or turns real slow. Release the starter button and try again and it may work perfect, or do the same thing. It may work well for 20-30 starts or more, then it may do it for most every start. Totally random appearing. Doesn't matter if the engine is hot or stone cold.
Should I go to the trouble of unplugging the PC3R? Is it toast?
