Yosh RS-3: Race or Zyclone?
I am going to get an RS-3 stainless can, but I have a few questions:
I have searched the old posts, but I need more...
1: Do I want a Slip-on or Bolt-on (different part #'s) and why?
2: Is the Race baffled one annoyingly loud, or is the Zyclone baffled one too quiet? Which one is the best sounding? (I think the race one will win this one..)
3: What distributer sells them in Canada? I can't find them in 'Parts Canada' or 'Motovan'.

Hey Beetleman- I have had the titanium version of both. The Zyclone version is slightly louder than stock. I could not hear the motor at 70mph on the highway. Even at full throttle, there was not much increase in noise levels. The race version is audible above wind noise at 70 mph but not (in my opinion) overly so. It is quite a bit louder at full throttle and I like the sound. I couldn't feel any performance difference with the zyclone muffler. There may be a few hp with the race version but I doubt you could feel the difference. I wear earplugs when I ride on long trips so I have the race muffler on the bike. My titanium zyclone muffler is for sale if you decide to go in that direction.
