For the short guy

Got the Schnitz tripletree risers today and used Heli bars in them for a comfortable ride. I had the Heli bars on the 12 for over a year...and they helped (I'm 5'6"), but it was still a long reach, especially if I was going to spend some serious time in the saddle. With the the Schnitz risers, I turned the riser part around backwards to bring the bars back closer to the rider. It's a nice looking set up. but the downside is the cost of appox $460 for the Heli bars and the Schnitz risers, but what the hell, at least my weight is off my wrists and arms. And 12s do like to run hard in this cold weather in Nashville. By the way...I didn't want a touring bike...just something I can ride without being in too much pain, and at 46 yrs. old, I value comfort as well as horsepower.
