Mine was in a plastic wire loom so it couldn't pinch... And I agree alot are pinch related..

Same problem I had with my bike. I had my 1270 kit installed by a local mech and he fucked it up bad. Had to install all new pistons and top end was almost shot. Better get it looked at fast. You have the same symptoms I had with mine.

Mine took a shit for the third time today... 2 months after fixing it...

No routing problems this time was installed all the wire inside a plastic wire loom so it couldn't rub thru anywhere... Just riding along and bike died instantly like you turned off the key.

Tore it apart disconnected it and started right up......

If you said check the throttle position sensor you were correct. In fact I was told by my dealer that Kawasaki Germany wants to take a look at the bad throttle position sensor to see what may have caused the problem.

zx12richard-I wonder if you're having an electrical problem.The connector on my alternator was fried,but so far the rectifier held up.Is there a problem with solenoid switches too close to the pc111r,magnetic interference?

When it come to electrical..... I don't have a clue.... I can run a test light thats where it ends...

Last time they sent it back to me it still had the hard start condition they wouldn't admit too...
