oooh nice...comes with a "memory cache controller provides RAM-fast access to your data"....
but it is sad to think there is still some ISA architecture even in some of these new machines flyin off retail shelves....they can put the floppy to death permanently wish they would...it's gettin there though

But if I had to bust out the old shit... I had an Atari (6800?) computer with the protective keyboard that resisted peanut butter...lol
Then the C64 and the early Vic20 with Tape drive!!!!
I remember being is 6th grade and the school got a but load of Vic20s....
we were so over that shit. The teacher told us we should "appreciate" the new technology... we laughed said Vic20s are for kids.... since most of us handed them down.

damn.. reminds me of my "big upgrade" years back... went from 8mb of ram to 16... I paid $800 for 8 meg (100 bucks a meg)... I had the fastest computer on the block and people thought it was so dame cool.
It's sitting in my garage right now holding the door open...
Long gone (though I wish I'd kept it) was my 128K Macintosh with an added external floppy drive so you didnt have to keep swapping disks when you loaded the OS...

My first computer (IBM PC JR) was $1299 for computer and keyboard only.. Monitor was around $500.. I got mine on close out w/monitor for about $400... We've come a long way since then.
