Dyno Chart from Tuning session....
Just got back from getting the bike, was it worth $300? Probably not. While the bike runs awesome, and I have only had about 15 miles of e-way riding on it, I'd have to say from first glance that it actaully seems softer when I whack the throttle open. I don't know, it just seems that with Rick's map when, at any speed, I whack open the throttle it had a harder hit than now. It pulls hard as shit for sure, and certainly much better than before the PC, but I think I was expecting a HUGE increase over Ricks map, like the HUGE increase I got when I installed Ricks map. This weekend I plan to go for a ride with the new map in, then come home and put Ricks map back in it and go another ride so I can compare back to back.

interesting news.
about that "hit" when you whack the throttle, maybe the timing is significantly different between the two maps. Check it when you can.

What do you mean by timing BA? Both Rick and I have Muzzy advancers in our bikes and PCIII's not IIIR's.
Dontwanna, I'm not going to paying for another dyno run after just droping $300 on this tuning session, and yes I am at sea level.

Correction...
I do have the 3R, pretty sure your USB model has timing tables as well. I pulled the muzzy advancer out and went back with the stock unit. My timing advances are done via the PC3R now.

From the little I can see of the map, it looks like the red is the "Tuned" version and it looks leaner which take away acceleration. I am not impressed with the operator's knowledge so far.
Get them (If they even know how) to make a print out at every 250 rpms or 500 rpms of the A/F, Torque and HP Readings before and after.
This way you can see RPM by RPM if the new map is better! Remember, lean usually makes HP and rich makes Torque.
Now in the operator defense, when you remove "Holes" in the power Band, the "Hit" feels a lot softer!

It might make on-off throttle transitions while cornering easier. Which may not be a bad thing.

I had the same experience, just my butt-dyno,tho. Seemed more brutal without the pc,with Akra race,I could scoot back on the seat at a decent rpm in 3rd gear, well over 100,nail it and the frt end came up. Slower than a lower gear, but up.(ok,on-off-on throttle...bounced??) Does'nt do it without pc.Very strong, but no wheelie. Seems it just smoothed it out,no peak gains.

The PCIIIUsb's for the 12's definitely don't do ignition.

Why is that.....
Why does my older serial PC3R have the ability to map timing, but the latest and greatest PC does not? I don't follow............
Not that any of this matters, but for the sake of discussion.

From the way I'm looking at it the blue line is my map. Even though the red is a shade better, I am proud of what I came up with while doing "Real World" testing.

You guys are reading it wrong. This is not a before and after comparison, he did two pulls after the tuning.

I think we may have discussed this on the phone Chris, but seems like a baseline run would be a necessity. A hostile redneck such as myself would have been pissed if I didn't have something to compare their work against.

Ninjaman12R,
If you go back about 5 years the DynoJet-COCKSUCKERS had a timing table/adjustment built into the PC2. Then they came out with the PC3 and told us that they will NOT be incorporating a timing table/adjustment into it. So most people went out and bought the PC3 because, thinking it was better then nothing. Low and behold, 1 month later (after the sales probably dropped) they come out with the PC3r, which has the timing table. DJ says TO BAD! So now they come out with the USB model, which does NOT have the timing table/adj.
So lets see they have it in the PC2, but they develop a PC3 without it. Then magically, when just about everyone goes out and buys the PC3 they come out with the PC3r. Now these COCKSUCKERS think we are fucking stupid, and do not remember how they do business. If you wait a little longer you WILL see a PC3r USB. I personally, will do everything I can to avoid buying anything they sell. FUCK THESE COCKSUCKERS!

You're right Koz....
Koz, I believe you are correct. Like I said earlier, it really doesn't make any sense to me. But you just shed some MAJOR light on the subject and I now see what time it is.
Let's see if history repeats itself once again.

FYI: Instead of releasing a new model that does ignition and pissing all of you off again/more, we are in the process of developing an ignition module that you purchase separately from the PCIIIUsb. New set of firmware and a new module is all that it will require to upgrade to ignition.

Otis, all is not lost! All you need to do is save the map onto a floppy and your hard drive and reload the other map and make a few pulls! Than have him load the best run on his map and the other map to compare. Now if he is a real Jerk and says something like I am not going to do this for you, then make sure he know that you are going to reccomend him to everyone and it will not be a good reccomendation! F him! I am now thinking that maybe the other map was better and that he did not want to compare it!

I have been trying to get him to e-mail me the map he made. I know I can hook up my laptop and get out of the PC, which I will do to compare it to Rick's, but I have a bad feeling about this fella. I keep getting the runaround from his wife who answers the phone. Today I'm going to call and say I am disputing the $300 on my credit Card because they haven't delivered the service I paid for. In fact who knows if he did anything at all? How do I know that Dyno Map is even from my bike? Maybe he just loaded the PowerCommander Map from their website for the 12 with a Yosh? That ought to shake them up.
