Ping Swft Hey Larry, what can I expect as far as charts and whatnot from Brighton Superbike? I mean will they give me dyno charts and all the tests they ran? Will they give me the map they created on disk, as well as loaded in the PCIII? Just curious.

I'd ask them to make sure. No reason why they wouldn't. Take a floppy with ya just in case they've never had that request.

I just got back from dropping it off. He said they will give me the sheets and if I bring a disk they will put the map on the disk or just e-mail it to me. Good enough.
Oh and Ted, don't be coming on here rubbing in our faces that you ordered a badass car ya fucker!

Ted - Hardtop? I was talking to someone bout that, they plan on getting a used Z06 now and upgrading to the '06 Z06.

Coupe!
They aren't planning on building any FRCs in the first run. Coupes in July, then soome verts. Z06 next year. If what I am reading is true, the Z06 will be a Viper killer.

Don't know they have yet to release prices. I am #1 on the order list, and in fact the order is at the factory. I got the built in GPS, Magnetic ride suspension, premium wheels, shit ...every option available. So say 55-60.

Option, comes with the 1SB option package which includes side air bags (in the seats), cargo nets, sport seats, power 6 way both, HUD, HomeLink,Memory seats, telescoping wheel, trick mirrors with compass, heated seats, Best sound system etc. I got OnStar, Sat Radio, premium wheels, 315 axle. Why mess around?

Did I mention 400 horsepower? Also Jim Hall was saying that the C6 is grossly under rated at 400. A larger motor, improved everything over the 405 hp Z06 motor, intake, exhaust, injectors, bigger TB, no pre cats, low fricton rings. He estimates 435ish so as not to kill the current Z06 sales.

Harry, I live in Reno. Yes, I am still here. The C6 has much more going for it than styling (which I like now that I have ordered one and am guaranteed to get it). It has navigation, dudes I am constantly lost, whenever I travel I spend more time taking wrong turns than anything, I have no fear of speed, but thinking I missed a turn scares the crap out of me, not to mention pisses me off. I was sold on nav when I had to pick up my PC from DJ in north Las Vegas in some industrial park. My rental car had one and the thing took me to the door. I would never have found it.
Can't wait, they say they will start building them in July. I like buying new cars. Shit I haven't bought one in a year.
