Don't hate me!
Well after a lot of shopping around I made the decision and bought a Busa! I had gotten my 2000 12 last year in Feb and had a blast with you guys on this board and LaBusas and Easyriders board. I had a blast with the 12 and still love the bike, but not enough money for both.
I sold the 12 back in August and bought a TL 1000S. Loved the TL, but missed the power of the 12 and sold the TL. Chose the Busa cause I wanted more down low, longer wheelbase and more displacement. Got a new 01 for $9250, blue and silver.
I'll still check the board out and hope to ride with some of you one day. Maybe we can do endless roll ons and have some good spirited competition!!! Now if I can just save for a 12, the world would be perfect

I don't get it? Because you sold your 12R? Because you got a Busa? That's supposed to be a reason for not being a part of this forum? So, does that mean that when I trade in my 12R for a 10R, I can no longer moderate this forum? No loonger even post?
I was unaware of the "fact" that if you didn't own a 12R... RIGHT NOW... you were not part of this "family". I guess the reason I was unaware of that "fact" is because it is not a "fact" at all! To the best of my knowledge, of the 800+ members of this forum, I'd be really surprised if 80% of them ACTUALLY owned a 12R.
That's not to say that the majority of them do, but I promise you, that is NOT a requirement to part of this forum! Busa's might be the "hated enemy" on some forums, but not here.
A few of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting and riding with, I either meet here or at LA Busa's 12R forum. Guess what? Not a single one of them owned a 12R. All three of them rode Busas. BusaDan (aka TwoWheeler) and MSlater are two that I try to ride with any chance I can.
Ghoti can to the first Gap event and was one of two Busas there. He and I spent countless hours just sittin' there watching all the other folks bench race. The best part is that I can call all three of them my friend. Just like I can with the 800 folks here. It doesn't make a rat's ass to me on what they ride. Just as long as they ride.
If you don't feel welcomed here because you now ride a Busa, dude... it ain't nobody's fault but your own.
Just my 2 euros (okay 3 or 4 euros... whatever it takes to make 2 cents)

Ya noticed I didn't "mention" who the other Busa was at the first Gap event.

redelk, don't get me wrong, I guess I gave the wrong impression. I don't plan on not visiting, just wasn't sure about some guys sentiment. Believe me, if it has two wheels on it that's good enough for me.

zxgirl, thanks, how are you anyway? Haven't talked to you in a while. Did you put some mileage on this year? You're in Michigan right? I miss some of the gang like Stentman, hope his situation gets better.

Doing great and I put most of the miles on my bike....1/4 mile at a time last year! That be me...The dumb Michigander who hates snow!!!

zxgirl, that's right, you're getting to be quite the quarter miler, cool. You going to the gap? I went to the Honda Hoot last year with the 12, had a blast in the mountains.
