Bleed, or not to bleed ?

Gonna change my master cylinder cover to a polished piece.Do I have to bleed my brakes after this ?

Just put a rag around the area... Ive seen brake fluid splash everwhere.

how old is the fluid? if it's old or dark-coloured, change the stuff out and enjoy your like-new brakes to go with the shiny cover
