ninja12,
my 1361 came with JE pistons which have much shorter skirts than the MTC's. Is that what you mean by "cut down" ?????

no, Muzzy machines the dome of the 1270 pistons when used in a 1361. This is to reduce compression.
I remember there was talk of a nitrous piston with thicker dome, before muzzy said the 1270 piston was strong enough.
are they still strough enough AFTER the dome mod?

I'm not sure if they're strong enough or not but I don't really think removing .050 or whatever it is off the dome weakens them much at all. I think most people build smaller motors if they intend on big spray cause the stroker kit adds a ton more work and a bunch more coin to the job. I've yet to hear of a crank failure on a weldup. I've also yet to hear of a nitrous/dome failure on a 1361. I pushed around 240 on a dry kit with mine a while back. No probs. I'm not too convinced that these pistons are the greatest for big spray though. The valve notches get really close to the ring lands. I have heard of nitrous/ring pinching with these pistons though but this was probably caused by a lean condition.

Dont Be Scared we have a twin nozzle dry kit with two #40 jets making 270rwhp. No controllers, just a PC3R and stock timing.

how are you adding extra fuel, all 45 in 80 and 100% columns?
What year bike?
What fuel pump?
