future zx12 Just thinking out loud.
What would happen if the zx12 turns in a zx13 or zx14 with 200hp from the factory?
I predict the busas would start to flood ebay and line up at the river for swimming lessons.

that's not from the factory,
MAybe i should have said, what would have happened if the zx12
came STOCK with 1361/1375 cc's . 200 hp off the showroom floor!

What if they dropped 125lbs off the ZX12, made it 200ccs smaller, and added radial brakes???
Oh I guess you'd have a ZX10...lol

It's been Kawasaki's traditonal approach to stick with proven designs. Examples would include the Concourse and the KLR650. Also the ZX7R. On the other hand, they are not afraid to introduce changes to models that don't quite meet expectations of greatness (ZX9R, ZX6R). That begs the question, does the ZX12R fall into the first or second category? Which way will it go, towards the ZX10R, or the ZZR1200?

Another 100 cc on the 12 and radial brakes. If I was building it. And Optional NOS from factory And go back to Forged pistons like the A model. And get a tire company to make 190/55 rears and sell em with them on the bike, Besides just race tires.
And offer Kawasaki Insurance, Damm thing be damm near impossible to insure.

I stand corrected, I assumed the 01 A2 model had em as well. I have looked and found the 01 came with cast. So the answer would be the 00, A1 model. The secret is out
I knew my 02 did not have them and I knew the 00 did. Sorry.

With Kawasaki..............nothing should suprize you! Look at the size of that Vulcan 2000! Look forward to a ZX1500R! 220 RWHP 490 lbs. What a great sport tourer should be!
