the man claims another summer got the news the other day... got 90-120 days tagged onto my 13 month tour over here.. Looks like i wont get to meet my new 12 til aug now... Aint that a bitch...

I wish the Bull Pucky would stop and "Somebody" at the top just say we need more people than we have there and send in fresh people and let the people that survived for a year go home with their life! A year is a hell of a long time to hold your breath. One of the reasons Germany got defeated was "No Rotation of troops" and they just flat got wore out!
Are they feeding you OK? We are getting news that Haliburton is only serving 1 real meal a day? Hang in there we are all pulling for you!

I walked out my front door 03jan03... Did high alt training in Eagle CO then refresher and NVG training in anneville PA... Got caught up in that 4th ID nut roll (coming in from turkey or not) got stuck at our MOB site (campbell) and didnt arrive in theatre til first part of APR... Ive serviced every site we own here... Statred out in the big push running up from kuwait to tirkit and everywhere in between..My company hangs its flag in Ballad... I serviced the sunni triangle exclusively from dec-end of march when the marines took it from 82nd... I m fortunate to have a good crew and kept my machine running sweet so ive spent alot of my time on the road away from the management...The natives in falleuja have done thier best to keep life interesting for our crews throughout this!!! Be happy you dont live there anymore HDL!!! As far as the food goes it sucks in the north... Im in kuwait city right now pushing all the new guys up north... Went out and had an excellent meal on the economy last night!!!

Glad you have had a Good meal at least once in a While. Personally, I am caught in the middle of three thoughts. #1 We started it and we have to end it. #2, From the way everyone is acting, I now think Saddam was doing what he had to do to keep that place in tact. #3, Let them just have the place and kill each other until no one is left. (My only problem with #3, is that there are good people there trying to do the right thing and would hate to lose them in the process). What a Mess, just come home with no metals and a WHole body. Maybe you will make it to Maxton for an event and I promise to buy you a meal you will be happy with. (I mean this!)

I was appalled to see how these people are living when we first rolled into iraq... Ive been to 3rd world countries before but the shiites in the south are living in the stone age.. And he shit on the kurds in the north for years... The sunnis in the central region are being a pain in the ass now and of course every muslim that every had beef with an american are pouring in from syria and iran to play... So most of the people here are good and im down with what we are trying to do ... Hopefully we can pump oil out of here soon and start turning a profit for the taxpayer... The only problem are these fucking generals... Mismanaging their assets... They will pay soon enough.... Watch the great exodus from the military!! Coming soon to a base near you!! I make it out to the east coast once a year or so on busness... Hopefully i can take you up on that meal sometime vince..

DC or Maxton, you are guaranteed a feast!. Be cool on what you say, we know the truth. When in doubt, Duck and then shoot. Hang in there, only the runway at Maxton is a worse road to travel (BTW, it was the place they trained the glider pilots for WWII)

Yeah man, I was fortunate to get orders early enough before extensions were being handed out. Just found out a lot of my friends that went over with me are just now getting orders to come back in the next couple months. And then half of those same people got stuck with that 120day extension.
I am just glad to be back, my time is done with so they can never get me back again.
Hope to have you come home soon man, hang in there!
