No the plunger is history, I just bypassed it completely. I was talking to my engineer buddy last night and he walked me though a bunch of tests checking voltage at the safetly switches and he thinks it's the solenoid, so I'm buying a new one today.

Jump the garden tractor with car directly to solenoid, I had a battery crap out on me and it showed full charge, Showed good but under load it just would not do it, Take jumper cables off as soon as it starts,
Battery much cheaper and faster to fix than solenoid, Make sure before ya go though the trouble Chris.

I replaced the battery last Fall Norm, it's fine. Changing the solenboid is no big deal, I took the old one off last night, it's only two screws and three wires.

I just consider the source, That 238 guy aint never rode with anybody from the forum. He could be trailer trash living in a 72 Airstream pulled by a 72 Impala. Living in our nations state parks or camp grounds. All you need is a modem and a yard sale 50$ computer. And anybody can talk shiit.

hey Norm dont sweat those fukrs....i have ridden the Dragon many many times, and let me tell you, I dont like to go up ther eon a regular weekend, let alone a holiday....I think for memorial day I am gonna head down to TWO and ride some GA curve for a ew days....some of the yahoo's here want me to ride the Dragon that weekend and I told them oh hell no. But none of them have ever been there before. So they are still going, and going without me...I tried to tell them as well....
