Coolant installation

For those of you who love cool tools that work, AND love the absense of hassle with filling a cooling system, you might consider buying one of the cooling system evacuation systems out there. Yesterday, after building the engine and putting the radiator back in place, I used my "Air Lift" to draw the cooling system down to 25" of vacuum, and then "sucked" 4 litres of 50/50 green coolant and distilled water into the cooling system. I topped up the overflow bottle, warmed the engine and it was perfect. No airlocks, no gulping coolant from the overflow, nothing.

These tools are available from Snap On, or Mac, or my system is made by Uview industries http://www.spotgun.com/Products/radiator_serv/rad_serv.html
These tools aren't cheap ($100-$200), but I do this for a living and use it every day on cars and trucks, so I thought I'd try it on the bike.....and it worked so well.
