Scraping swingarm

Is there a special set of swing arm spools that keep the rear bike stand from scraping the swingarm? I hold the bike straight up and it still rubs when you raise the rear up. I even tried bending the stand forks out. seems the spools are not offset enough. Anyone else have this issue?

use a pitbull stand and you won't need spools

Or use a spooled Pitbull stand and you won't have a problem because they hold the adjustment and stay within the spools.

I bought the SS rear from Pitbull because you can flip the mount and also use it on bikes that don't have rear spools, you get the best of both worlds and no scratches.

The Muzzy spools are wider if that will help.

Same with the protekk.com spools, lots wider than most and keeps the stand off the swingarm....

zzzzzzzxxxxxxx...Protek also has some sweet swing arm spool/slides you aught to check out. The spools in ZXLNT, look like the slider spools...they are a neat concept....

My stands are from Handy Industries and i got some spools from the local suzuki store and mine never hit. My stand is adjustable though so it would never hit..

I was looking at the pics above and i think i may have the wrong spools. I rear lip does not clear the swingarm. All the ones above have the inside lip protecting the swingarm, or is the mount on the 2000( like mine) that much different?
