I attended what i believe was the last usgp at laguna seca in i believe 1988. I forget the riders name but he got run over during the celebration lap. Glad to see Kenny getting it back here.

I believe it ran from 88-93' before being blown away by new safety rules...
To be sure, moving the Turn 1 hill is a daunting undertaking, & I don't see how they can move the T3 fencing (pits is right behind it), or moving the Rainey Curve Bridge (still going to be a bridge support someplace...)
Who knows? I hope it will happen tho; I'd like to go to GP's again. & who cares if WSBK goes away? I will only miss Frankie...

I dont think i have ever seen anyone get close to hitting that bridge, cars or bikes.
