sad thing is that the "smokey" part of the smokey mountains is not good for the trees. I think I read it was some kind of pollution or just something bad in that air lingering around. It's not just a low cloud. 
Beautiful place though!! Almost makes riding scarey when you take a few brief looks towards the horizon when in motion! Don't want to get too caught up in the looking while riding! (plenty of places to stop though)

you know I got to give ya a hard time, it could just as easily been me right there with ya. If i hadnt been looking at the scenery when you 2 took off I would have been AFU as well. I was going to pick up one of the radar detectors that Gene had. But now I have to buy this front wheel for the RR so that is out of the question.Crappy timing, I wouldnt have bought the new helmet if I had dinged the tire before , but such is life.

no, aint found one yet...Ron Aryes has one but its $460, but I havent found a good used one yet, calling savlage yards today...hopefully I can find a good used one....if not I will order the one from Ron today, and have it in a few days....then i will see if I can get the other one fixed and have it as a spare....

Hell yeah. Like back in Sept when Mark and a couple others went by Rick, Harry, Bart and I on the Parkway while we were at a stop and then they were at the lookout waiting for us with all those Harley dudes and said they heard the four of us coming, on the pipe, and it sounded sweet as hell. Cool shit man!
