TREMENDOUS DIFFERENCE!!!!
Damn! That's all I have to say. I just rode the bike for the first time since allthe work done and it's incredible. I didn't know how shitty it was til now. It rides and runs just like if not better than off the showroom floor and I have 25,000 miles on her. The suspension work was worth every penny just amazing. And I now have the PCIII on it and I downloaded Rick's map into it, now he has the same exact set up I do as far as pipe and whatnot. I can't even believe the difference. I thought the bike was good before but never in my wildest dreams could I have expected such an improvement and I haven't even taken it in yet for the custom map. The throttle response is SOOOO much better and it pulls like never before. Just awesome, I am one happy MF. Thanks to Rick and John (CTR Suspension) and Roger for all the help and guidence in doing my valves and setting the TPS right and getting the PC up and running and the suspension. I think I'll dance a little jig in celebration.

Welcome to the club! I would "Still" not do the custom map until you have seen a few pulls on the Dyno. Have them also do a print out on the A/ F Ratio in the 250 rpm increments and you will see the HP, Torque, RPM and A/F Ratio. If you are right around 12.8 to 13.4 Air Fuel, do nothing else and save the money you would be wasting!

I may just do that Vinnie, I mean I know every bike is different and by getting a custom map it will be perfect for my bike, but I truly can't imagine it being any better than it is now.

yeah because im trying to keep it covered under warranty. the only thing i have changed is the clutch to a muzzy setup.
i am trying to get a new engine out of my kawi on the last year of the warranty so i didnt want to chance voiding the warranty until i get it.
but after reading ur post, u make it hard brotha to leave it stock lol

Good deal man, glad I could help a brother out. I knew your bike would benefit from my map. I put a lot of time and effort into it and I'm glad you like the way your bike runs with it. As I've said, I fuckin' demolished 2 BT010s in less than a thousand miles while building that thing. I know the people out where I live were wondering WTF is that idiot doing riding like he's got a race to win???
Testin' man,.....I was testin'.  It payed off though because my bike runs super smooth and will lay darkies day in and day out with absolute ease.

Yosh RS3 Race Pipe (Titanium), K&N Filters, Clean Air Removed, Muzzy Advancer set at 4.5 degrees, PCIII. I think that's it, oh, and new plugs.

I put 14k miles on my 12 the first year I had it. I didnt ride it last season at all, it was left at Dino's place. So this season, I've already dropped 4k on the 12 and we still have a long way to go.
Next season I am planning on doing a four-corners run, looking at adding another 20k in just two months.
Basically, I ride a LOT of miles on my 12, and I wanna see how high I can get it, and I am assuming the engine cant do more than 75k miles on it before it goes.
Then in that last year of my 60 month warranty, 2007 I believe, the engine will go and Kawi will replace the engine under warranty....albeit a new engine.
So yeah...

Beans, do what most people do, get the pipe and PC3r and filters and enjoy. The if a problem arises, put the stock pipe and filters in and remove the PC3r and that is it!

But do I have to take it off every time I goto the dealer. Wont they remember that I had it on.

Yeah, the PCIII just plugs in. What makes you think the motor will go at 75K Miles? There is no reason this motor can't stay strong for long after that if you take care of it.

I am not sure that the "Pipe" would void the warranty! I now understand, you take your bike in for "Service Work". "Oil Changes" Chain adjustments, Throttle body adjustments, and Valve Adjustments. Since the Valves are donw every 7,500 miles, no problem there. you had better learn how to do the other yourself

Long time no talk. I probably won't be able to make the Gap this go round  I will go a bit later in the season.
Hey Chris...What exactly are you talking bout when you say adjusting the TPS? I mean, I know what the throttle position sensor is and does but please explain this "adjusting" part? I bought Fish's used pcIIIr and should be getting it early next week. Do I need to do something with the TPS as part of the pcIIIr install? My 12 has always had a bit of the backfiring issue but not real bad? I remember hearing about doing something with the TPS as part of the Y2K mods as I recall?
I am glad for you and your great results with your bike. I am now even more anxious to get my power comamder and get it installed

Yeah, Otis is gonna need all the help he can get drafting Rick on Cherahola - assuming he can keep that big beast on the correct side of the yellow line.
I got a little R6 that's just waiting for a piece of that 12.....
Since little Yammy's on the way, you might wanna go ahead and do that custom map ya milky lickin' bastid.

My dealer knows everything that has been done to my bike, adn they have NEVER given me a problem with warranty work or recals. I take it in and tell them what is wrong, adn they fix it.......They only way they would be able to argue any point of a modification is if they can prove taht the modification you installed, caused the problem with the bike.
I.E. If you throw a crank bearing and have a pipe on it, there is now way the pipe caused it...they have to honor the warranty.....What can a K&N filter do to your bike? only help it, buy filtering out more dirt than the stocker...thats all, you can make that change and not worry.
Talk to your dealer and find out what their standards are on warranty work and aftermarket equipment. If they say they will void the warranty if you make changes, find a new dealer and give your money to someone who cares about your buisness.

Hey Wrenis, good to hear from you brother. I had adjusted the TPS back before I did anything to the bike to help with the off throttle stumble. I had to get it BACK to the stock setting of 1.085. If you haven't touched it since you've owned the bike, then leave it. But it may be a good idea to check it, cause chances are pretty good it's not right fromthe factory.
Jon.. the yellow line incident? Damn brother you had to go bring that up? LOL Are you going to make it next month? I hope so brother, I really do. I am going to keep my appointment and get the custom map. I know Rick worked a long time to the map right for his bike and his map works awesome in mine, but we know every bike is different.
Jim, I talked to Bart last night, were you serious about letting him ride your 6 for a day or two?

Just had the forks and shock rebuilt. Nothing aftermarket like gold valves or Ohlins or anything.
