Yes i read it and in this months BIKE mag ie not Performance bikes their are two different articles on the 12.

Sorry guys been at the OB with the pregnant wife. IT was really a great article and talked a lot about the ZX-12R and the Hyabusa and it said some really cool things that made me very fired up to be a ZX-12 owner. Man I am HAPPY as shit I bought this bike.

Oh yeah, sorry..you want details. Well they did this awesome trip through a country and talked about how one was faster than the other and how they went these crazy speeds and the funny things that happened to em. And they really did a good job of comparing the two bikes. Really cool.

OK, the two fellas took off on a 12 and a busa to go to Paris to do a run on the loop that goes around Paris. It's the loop where that guy did a video of his "lap" the one who was killed shoprtly after? KNow what I'm talking about? Well the ran the piss out of the bikes all the way there, claimed 170mph for 45 minutes non stop to get to Paris. Then did the loop at night nonetheless, carzy fuckers. Anyway, they stated the 12 would pull away from the busa whenerver it wanted, the 12 had a Akro and PC and the busa had a Yosh and a PC. Said the 12 handled better then the busa in some parts, specifically the tighter stuff but would blow the doors off the busa powerwise. If I remember a quote from the guy on the busa said they took off and he was railing through the gears and when he shifted into 6th the 12 was a dot in the distance.
The thing was he picked the Busa if he had to buy one cause he said he didn't have confidence in the 12's transmission? Now how fucked up is that?
They are great writers them Brits and they're adventures are insane. Go get it, it's worth the read and makes the US mags look like the assholes they are.
