Hmm...Does it have forks that are adjustable for preload and damping? What about the rear shock? You might end up spending more getting it ready for the track than a same year 6R would cost.

300 bucks for a bike to trash on the track isnt bad.....it wont perform like a newer bike but should give ya plenty of fun.....you ever think about buying a used SV650....my buddy sold his boys race bike for 3500, and it was race prepped.....just add leather and a track and you were ready.....
