another setback for riding my new ZX12R
last weekend i was going to try to ride my 12 for the first time i have resolved the shifting with electric shifter the side stand raising and lowering with my cable system i decided to see how hard it would be to put left foot on the peg befor i ride needless to say i can't do it confortably while supporting the bike with my right leg and holding on with the right hand as i have to use my left hand to pick up my leg and place foot on the peg i need to fashion a highway peg iam thinking of mounting it where you would frame sliders i will let you know iam determined to ride my 12

Hey Wilson,
I saw in one of the stunter mags this guy who built these 'cages' for lack of a better word. They are like frame sliders taken to the extreme. Not only would this provide you extra protection for the bike in the event of a mishap but more importantly it might allow for placement of multiple foot pegs. Anyone seen these frame cages?

If your foot peg was "Lower" (By 1.5 to 2 inches) would that make it possible for you to simply "Swing" your left leg into place? I made some brackets that moved my feet 1 inch forward and 1.5 inches down for a few long trips.

Actually Peg brackets that mount where the pegs were and the stock pegs then mount in the brackets! I will take a Pic and post it soon. along with the rear foot peg brackets.
