It is not anything different then a battery tender? or the other brands out there. just looks like a plug mounts to the battery and then you plug it in when you need to. I like the price!
and the lights are nice also.

Looks like a quick disconnect before the module so all that you would need on the bike is the wire that mounts to the battery. I was thinking that the wire can be routed to the storage compartment under the pax seat. When required, pop the seat open and plug it in.

That is pretty cool. Be sure to check this one too.
Battery Tender http://batterytender.com/ also includes a quick disconnect clamps and a pigtail that can be left on the bike. It has a waterproof cover that slips on to cover the connections when the charger is not connected.
The prices on their site is MSRP and the won't compete with the dealers. I bought the Plus model at the local Interstate store for $40.
Oh, and made in Deland, Florida USA, about 20 miles from here.

I use the Battery Tender Jr. Same function as the tender, but smaller and you don't have to set the unit somewhere. It allso has LED charge indicators.
I think I paid about $30 for mine ____________

Got the Kisan battery charger. Is it ever small! Haven't installed it yet. Kisan has some pretty neat stuff. You can see it at www.kisantech.com.

I have never needed a battery charger.....I ride mine enough to keep it going.....and while I was in the desert, my wife and my buddy kept starting it and riding it

I start mine up while it is in storage but I guess the revs aren't high enough to charge the battery. That's why I got the batery tender.
