My Tritons that I have didn't seem to be much lighter than stock maybe a couple pounds or so. I think most of it was in the sprocket and cush drive..

Well if you purchase the RC Comp *Talladegas* you will certain of a ~10lb weight savings! Ask me how I know...lol (thats with the sprocket and cush drive installed) Tritons are probably the 2nd lightest and the Daytonas are a close 3rd. Keep in mind that the wheels will give you as performance benefit as a pipe & a PC3. I just weighed a Daytona for a GSXR and a stock GSXR wheel. 5lbs difference! RCs are lighter than people think!
Heres a picture of the rear.

cush drive

I'm riding most of the time off cource on the street, but also at least five times we do some drag racing.

Cush drive adds weight and cost.
So is it necessary for normal street riding?
Or is there any factor of harm to ride on street whit out cush drive.

Dave, they do have one. You can opt not to have one, but for $150 its not really worth it. (performance wise).
The cush is solid billet!
