I rode out to bosie before! and If I have my bike together i am trying to make it out there! I will know in the next couple of weeks!

I don't know.... I've seen the pictures. What scares me, especially having a skirt, is what you guys do when you're parked and after the ride........... We don't do it that way out here.

Hmmmm....

What,.... after a long days ride you guys don't clean your bikes and drink beer until everyone is toasted, sit around swappin' stories, bench race till all hours of the night, and then call it a day??? Just exactly how do you do it "out there"? ____________

N12R - Ya know, that actually sounds pretty good. But unfortunetly no. Pretty fast paced out here for some of us. Do your ride, clean your bike, continue on down the agenda list of things to do. Most of the bench racing & drinking is done by the "slower guys"...
But your description sounds like the best reason to do the ride! I may have to talk to XL again about us coming out there!
And HDL.... Go buy yourself a pair of Bridgestones and explore your real capabilities. What I do at Fredricks is none of your business...

I hear ya...... I hear ya Kerry. You need to make it if you can.
Oh and about the slow part,...none of us are Eboz that's for sure. But you may need to go on a few Cherohala rides before you make that call Jr. ____________

LOL!!! Yeah, no disrespect to Sherman for sure. He is probably the safest and most cautious rider of the group. He's probably smart for not even attempting to run our pace. If you get behind on that road just take your lumps, and save your tires and brakes. The speeds on that road are WAY crazy, no need to make it any worse.
The fastest I ever ran that road was with Mike, Roger and Otis back @ DG2. I was plowing the front so bad I was having to tip the bike in real early and kinda guessin' where the front was gonna bite. All parties involved remember that ride for sure. I still refer to it as the "Cherohala Death Ride".The crazy bastards I associate with............. ____________

oh hell no, aint trying to do that on the 12......I would liek to ride the gp on the 600, with the tires that are on it now it would be a hoot....
On that last DG when we all ran the Cherohola after I got around Sherm I cuaght up to Rob and Norm. I dont remember which on it was but after I caught up he picked up the pace. We were running pretty hard towords the tellico Plains end and come into this blind right hander, all of a sudden Rob or Norm, which ever it was just faded way wide, so I took the inside line and sipped past them and then dropped the hammer, by the time I got up to everyone, they were already ordering food.....lol

Stoked.... Jim I'm friggin' stoked. If I already had my 450 motarded I'd for sure bring it and ride the gap!!! It'll happen someday.
I wish swft, Kerry, and some of the others that live out west would make the trek to Deal's Gap. I promise anyone who is sitting on the fence one thing, and that is if you take the time and trouble to make this event you'll be glad you did.
