What does everyone think of the Aprilia RS series of bikes?
I sat on one the other day and talk about incredibly light. Are these practical to even own or have as a second bike? Any opinions on these or prior experiences?

Very trick. Very sweet. I've only ridden the Mille. Very nice. But not enough performance and tooooooooooooo much money.

I don't have the Aprilia model, but I do have a 97 RGV SP. The 97/98 used a 70 degree motor vs. the 90 degree (Suzuki) that's used in all the Aprilia 250's. Fun little bikes and a hoot to ride. Just over 285lbs/60hp
With Aprilia importing the Challenge bikes, parts are readilly available. Being a 2 stroke, they do need attention a little more often then the diesels we're used to.
Practical?????? Who cares!! lol
If you're patient, there's talk that with the dimise of the Suzuki 250 motor not being produced anymore, they plan on mounting the new 450 sxv motor in the chassis. And yes, they plan on being EPA/DOT legal.
