Eastside Motorsports on The Motorsports Show

Please join me Thursday afternoon at 5pm on KKNW 1150AM for The Motorsports Show! My guest this week is Herb Varin. Herb has a lot of experience with several dealerships in the Seattle area, and has worked independently. Now with Eastside, he brings to us a wealth of information and experience with suspension modifications, restorations, and on and on! You can also listen live in the Internet at www.motorsportsshow.com.

As usual, we have gifts for every caller, and a $25 gift certificate to Cafe Veloce for the "best" call. Calls during the show go to (425) 373-5527. Or - send an e-mail to tms1150@yahoo.com

This week's "Pass The Buckingham" trivia question is: What motorcycle engine is used for the background of the Cafe Veloce ad? Good luck!

And... this weekend:

The Rides of March at Lynnwood Cycle Barn - kind of like the "Ides of March" but more fun!

1. On Saturday, you can commmemorate the assassination of Julius Caesar by taking part in our spring.... BLOOD DRIVE! Openings from 10am to 3pm - get back to me to reserve a spot. The Puget Sound Blood Center needs our help!

2. Saturday Ride of March - 9:15 - 4pm. Come in an register to go for a "Scavenger Hunt" ride finding the answers to questions along the way. You will return from this 4 hour jaunt to dine on pizza and win valuable prizes - IF you have amassed enough correct answers!

3. Sunday Ride of March - 11:15 - 4pm. Register again for a shorter ride - this one a tour of some Seattle historic spots, find more answers, and return to the Barn for more pizza and more prizes!

Entry fee for one or both rides, for one or two people, is a donation of an amount you choose to help rebuild the British National Motorcycle museum - recovering from a disastrous fire.

Cheers,
Dave Preston
