Question about replacing the speedometer face?
I see a lot of really cool faces for the speedo for the 12. It looks fairly simple to install/replace the stock one, but how accurate is it lined up with the speedo.
My 12 is a 2002. If I upgrade it to a speedo from 2000, will the needle still accurate of the speed its going?
Same question for an aftermarket face?
Anyone have any insight? I hope it makes sense what I'm asking.

I got some new face plates from Graphic Art Moto Design. The face plate lines up using the holes that the little pins that stop the needles from going below zero. The most difficult part is when you put the needles back on the shafts so that the needles sit at zero when the shafts is sitting at zero.

If you have a PCIII, you can check the tach by comparing to what the RPM display on the laptop, while hooked up to the PCIII.
