In his younger days, I've seen Sebi 'defend' his bud...Was walking with a friend and his dobie named Ty. Ty had gone ahead, and came tearing back around the lake with an Irish Wolfhound after him. Sebi stepped out and threw a linebacker class block on the Wolfhound, stopped him in his tracks. But did *not* attack the other dog. Just stopped him and waited for him to do anything. Once the wolfhound got back up, he just kinda staggered off back where he came from. Another time, he got jumped on by a pair of Malamutes. He hunkered down and waited till the odds evened up, then defended himself, pushing the big male back outta his face. So yes, he'll defend himself, but has never gone out and picked a fight.

Thanks! I always liked the breed, just needed an owners opinion, not a sales person. I always say there are no bad dogs just bad owners. And working in Chicago you see plenty of bad owners
