Question for Rob or Doug

If I ordered a billet basket now (for my birthday) but didn't install it for a month or two (getting cold out in the garage) will I have any problem getting my core charge back or does the core need to be sent back right away?

Phil...With all due respect to you, this is a business transaction. What you are asking for is a kind of loan.

I can't speak for Muzzys, but if you were in business would you pass out loans everytime someone was a little short.

It would be great if nobody defaulted on any loans, but we all know that is not the case. And I'm not suggesting that you might default here. Just that Muzzys has to have a policy to protect themselves from those who do.

Now what was your question again? -ZXtra

I don't see where that would be a problem.

I wouldn't think so. I have had 1270 kit since April still new never installed. My guy I bought it from was talking to Muzzy the other day and they mentioned he still had a core to send in. No big deal to them, they have it on file..

No, there is no problem with that as long as you've paid the core up front. That is why we must charge the core charge. If you don't send the core back, we've got your money to buy a replacement part to make up for the one you didn't send.

G'morning, Doug!

Hey, how was your holiday? Hope you had a good time. I got a cool book on the salt flats for xmas, looking forward to getting out there this year. Any progress on that EMS harness?

ZXtra, I meant pay for the hole thing up front, just wanted to be sure I could retrieve the core charge latter. On second thought I probably couldn't stand having it sitting there all winter so I'll just haul it to our shop to install it. Need a warm place anyway to strip paint off of the wheels.
