Same here,....I honestly don't see the fascination with the stuff. It's illegal, stinks like a skunks ass, and tends to make women horny. Well scratch the last part I guess. I still have my "Just Say No" button from back in the day.

How about devil's advocate for the devil's weed? Anyone ever think that we're missing out on a great revenue enhancement for the local governments? I say legalize it and tax the shit out of it.

To me, the "NO!!! I'd never do that in a million years!!!" sounds like a sarcastic statement that really means, "Yes!!! I am actually doing that right at this moment!!!"

Fuck that drug shit... Im already mentality unbalanced.
Harry likes to "smoke polls" ...since the Surgeon General has not issued a RDA warning or recommendation on the issue. Harry like to take matters into his own hands (or mouth for that matter)
HDL... you're a prude? Thats not the story Harry tells...lol

never so much as tried a puff of anything in my life, but given where i live, i probably get more off second hand smoke than most get by smokin themselves. i swear i'm damn near the only young male in town who dont smoke cronic. kinda the same take as u mentioned HDL. dont really have much against it, just never felt the need. plus the whole "Im already mentality unbalanced" factor TB mentions applies too

ynot,
freek, I hear smokin' the chronic is rather pleasant. Your skinny ass could benefit from one of the side effects most commonly known as "The Munchies".

I liied!
I used to smoke and it killed my lungs.. Now at the age of 55 I sit here with an oxygen line in my nose.. I can still ride my 12R and do but I have to be really careful not to get in a situation where I have to exert myself.. I don't miss getting high at all. I wish I never had. I started at the age of 21 in Vietnam if you want to hear my excuse. There is an old saying that I should have heeded. You smoke, you choke, you croak... Put the cigarettes and weed down and go cold turkey.. If you can't, wean yourself off with the patch or something like skoal bandits.. This is truth and if I persuade only one person to quit, then I have down a fantastic thing. Ride on Brothers and Sisters..

Bill,
Touching post for sure. It probably wasn't easy for you to post that.I have a lot of respect for you, and admire your courage. I am currently working on helping my wife to put the cigarettes down. I layed them down last July and have never looked back. This is her second attempt since last September. It is amazing to me at how a cigarette can control someone. They had me at one time I admit, but I made up my mind to stop cold turkey. My wife said I made it look easy. It wasn't easy at first but I knew I needed it. Going to the gym 3 to 4 times a week will let you know just how much the beloved cigs are killing you. That actually made it easier. I could tell it was helping me in the gym, especially when running on the treadmill. My wife is having a much harder time than I ever did. But I am trying to help her continue through the rough spots.
I've made several changes to my lifestyle in the past couple years. All of them geared towards a better quality of life, which is simply a healthier life. I've quit smoking cigarettes, quit dipping skoal, lost 60 pounds, and became a member of the YMCA. I work out 3 to 4 times a week and try to eat a healthy diet. But I still have a couple things that I do from time to time that don't follow that trend. I am going in the right direction though, and nobody has had to push me. It has all been my call 100%, and I am very proud of the changes I've made.
