Bridgestone BT010's stock sizes on my 12....no plans on changing. Sure beats the 208's the bike came with!

M1s
Yeah HDL, the Sportecs are a pretty good all around tire. A great compromise between grip and wear I'd say. Supercorsas are the shit, but way too expensive for someone like me. I change tires way more often than I change oil, and that is fucking rediculous. I've got a rear tire on order from Ron Ayers as we speak. I just hope I fair better with tires on the dirt bike.

Tried M-1's, really liked 'em. Currently...Avon AV45/46, like 'em even better, wearing great.

I have found a few tires that I liked on my 12..I have never run a set of Supercorsas and would liek to, but I dont really consider them a street tire, cause yer gonna get shit for mileage out of them. I have tried the Pilot HPX's, the Pirelli Dragons, The Metzler M-1's, and the Dunlop 208's. All of which were good tires, the Pilots take too long to heat up, but work great after they do. The Dunlops prolly gave me the best mileage, that may be because I took it easy for the first 1000 miles for the break in....lol
So far the best compromise between Mileage and traction has been the M-1's.....I am going to have a set of Supercorsas spooned on for DGVIII, still trying to arrange schedule for DGVII.....hope to see you all there...

Trying to make it to DG. So far, don't see why I couldn't.....
And yeah, I'll have to bring the R6. Don't think Sherm will let me ass-rape his 10R. It'll still be a new, virgin bike under him.
Besides, the little R6 is a screamer. I like those.

those freaking Dunlop 208 GPA's are the shit on my little 6RR......they are not the best for street tires though, got to work hard to keep them hot enough to stay sticky.....

Just ordered a set of M1's on Rick's advice, better be good, then again I can outrun him on a set of schwin tires so I'm not too worried. DOH! Man, Otis is feeling rather fiesty today.

have to agree with Rick on this one Chris, I am just getting ready to replace the M-1's I had on my 12 back in september.....I was going to put a new set of M-1 on it, but I got a good price on a set of Supercorsa takefoff's. I picked on set up for the RR and I think i am going to put the 2nd set on the 12 for the DG event...but after that, there is another set of M-1's waitning to get spooned on the 12.....

Fiesty????
Fiesty??? Is that Detroit slang for "Fucking Queer"? Just askin' is all..............
Oh yeah Otis, see if your ass can outrun my foot this May.
Seriously, the M1s are pretty good. Remember I am the guy that hounded you to buy some 010s. You were skeptical then and you are skeptical now. You love the 010s as I knew you would. Trust me on the M1s, you'll like them. They are really a lot like the 010. Grip is real similar, but the M1 seems to retain it's character even when the tire is shot. (remember that tire I wore slick last may???) Plus the fronts just don't cup that bad. It'll all work out.
