More than PC3... is MOTEC!

Happy new year folks!
Here in Finland is cold enough..huh
but Winter is beautime and I love snow
But anyway, my question is about the great box called
MOTEC... I have not seen any conversations or
compared functions between pc3 and motec..
Do you have any experience... is the only differece
the pricing?

regards Tapani

PC3 vs Motec.

If your running a fairly stock motor with a pipe, I would go with the PC3R. The Motec is designed for highly modified motors as found in Superbikes. Besides, It would cost you many times more than a PC3R and would not be worth the extra cost. Just my .02 cents worth.

Hi Tapani

Difference between Motec and pc3 is that Motec is fully adjustable and don't need bikes original ecu.
You can also use Motec to drive the NOS-system or anything you put on bike.

When we test pc3r in my bike, it gives few hp less than with motec.

Driveability is also top class with motec.

Price is high, but in my opinion, it's worth it.

You also ask brakedisks.
You can use your oem calipers with new disks, but you must check what kind of pads are recommended.

1361 project goes on, hope i get engine back after next week.
Get new lockup clutch too... and new headwork..and new gearbox.... and....

By the way, drive 28000 km with big bore pistons last summer, and pistons were like new after that.

I won't get new fairings for this summer, maybe carbon at next winter.

I get only stroked crank, not billet.
But of course billet is better. And better price too

A Plan

Sounds that everything is ok

Yes, I have a plan also..
First making it lighter
( carbonite the bike)
Wheels , ram air, covers, tank
possibly fairings, Brakes etc...
Subimoto makes carbon fairings
but I have not sen any of their *look quality*
parts, 'couse they have not send me any pictures yet.
Parts can be bought from germany.

I'm gonna take 20 kilos ( 44lbs) away from
the normal weight , that my goal.
I know that SWFT and WHITE LIGHTENING
Have taken more than that )

The motor I 'm gonna leave this summer stock
but akra plus pcr 3 it will have in spring.

Bu the way I have been talking to * Harri Piensalmi*
He´s gonna try his map to my bike... when installing
the pcr3 and akra.
Shouls I buy the racing set ( fully titanium?)

He also told that you gonna use his Dynojet services.
Did you plan to make changes to your swingarm?
